Chitose, Japan is a city which is located in the west-central area of Hokkaido. It is also about 24 miles south-east of Sapporo. The best month to visit Chitose is in July. However, take note it is not all about the sun and heat for this town. It gets about 5 to 6 hours of sun a day, and it often rains at night.
