Best Time to Visit
The perfect time to visit Kumano is during the months of April through June, for the best weather. Peak tourist season is usually during the months of October, March, and May. Tourists are least likely to visit in July. One of the most exciting events in the city is Kumano Fireworks Festival, which is held every August 17.
