Wakkanai Airport (WKJ) is a public airport located 6.2 miles of Wakkanai, Japan situated in Hokkaidō. WKJ-Wakkanai is a public airport operated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
It is the northernmost airport in the country and is sometimes closed during the cold winter season.
