Opened in 1968, Columbia Regional Airport in Columbia, Missouri is a commercial passenger airport that serves the metropolitan areas and the nearby areas surrounding Jefferson City. The airport replaced the old Columbia Municipal Airport back in I-70 and is used mostly for chartered flights. The airport is categorized as one of the primary commercial service airport.
