Teluk Intan is the largest town and capital of the Hilir Perak district in Malaysia. It was once known as Teluk Anson which translates to Anson Bay, but is now named Teluk Intan or Diamond Bay. The town used to be the place where Perak rulers held court. Today, Teluk Intan has grown with the times.
