The Vincenzo Florio Airport Trapani–Birgi, whose airport code is TPS, was named before Vincenzo Florio Sr., an Italian entrepreneur and politician. In 2015, the airport has handled1,586,992 passengers making it one of Italy’s large air public transport facility.
