Dong Hoi Airport (VDH) is located 3.7 miles from Dong Hoi, Vietnam nestled in the Loc Ninh commune in Quảng Bình Province. This airport facility is situated by the sandy area in the South China Sea and is operated by the Airports Corporation of Vietnam, which falls under the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam. This airport has plans of extending the runway so that it can serve bigger aircraft to be able to serve domestic and international terminals. The renovation is designed to accommodate 10 million passengers, construct a parallel taxiway, and two separate terminals. The expansion and improvements are to be completed in 2020.
