Operated by the Wagner Family of Toowoomba, the Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport (WTB) is the first major greenfield public airport development in Australia since Melbourne Airport opened in 1970. The WTB Airport is also recognized as the first privately funded major airport in the country. Located 8.4 nautical miles west from the central business district of Toowoomba in Queensland, the airport was known as Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport until November 2017.
