Dryden Regional Airport with the code YHD is a public airport located 4.9 miles northeast of Dryden, Ontario, Canada. It serves the City of Dryden which is strategically located in the heart of Ontario on the TransCanada Highway between Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. The airport was built by the local government in partnership with Transport Canada and began operations in July 1969. In 1996, the full ownership of the airport was given to the Corporation of the City of Dryden and to this day, the airport continues to be municipally owned and operated.
